Financial Fest has a long and established multi-decade history in Phoenix, Arizona, and has been presented in 10 other major cities through the years. As with our radio station, we have an established, loyal, and intelligent audience that comes to this annual event to engage with participants on our station, as well as learn about new companies that have an investment product or service to offer. Some of the key elements that make up our unique Financial Fest format are detailed below.
We feel that the best attendance potential and learning environment comes without a charge to attendees to a convenient location in the Valley.
We survey our radio audience to determine the best venue to present our event, and feature it over the course of one day. We’ve seen (and even put on) multiple day events, and have found that the attendee turnout is essentially split over those days, that it creates a less than predictable turnout for exhibitor presentations, as well as increases travel costs for exhibitors. We feature our event on a Saturday (usually the first or second weekend in November each year).
We work diligently to ensure that we keep a limit on the number of simultaneous presentations we put on throughout the day. We typically feature hour long “main stage” presentations throughout the day, and offer up to three breakout seminar sessions for you as an exhibitor to provide an alternative. What we find is that we have 300-500 attendees on average in each main stage presentation, and 50-125 attendees in each breakout session. This is heavily dependent on the topics and time of day of the presentation.
To qualify as an exhibitor, we typically allow only organizations closely related to the investment and management of money. There are a few different groups that also qualify.
If you are a media company that reports primarily on business or investment affairs, you can qualify as an exhibitor.
These limitations are so specific so that the best interests of attendees are met. We do allow other organizations that can demonstrate their benefit to the event to put their company on display. Financial Fest has an over 22 year history in the Phoenix area, and along with it’s partnership with Money Radio 1510 & 99.3 FM, has come to be the trusted destination for local investors interested in keeping up with the latest investment products and management styles.
We offer multiple display options, ranging from a simple hallway presence to large showcase booths that offer an up front presence, multiple branding options at the event, and premium seminar selections.
What sets Financial Fest apart is the strict attention to the arrangement and flow at the event. At each one-day show, we feature a small, select number of exhibitors, so that the experience doesn’t overwhelm attendees. Typically, we feature between 35-50 exhibitors at the event, and design the floor plan in a way that is not only easy to navigate, but allows for regular flow between seminar presentations and the main stage so that consistent traffic flow moves throughout the exhibit floor.
We feature main stage exhibitor presentations and breakout presentations that typically are 45-50 minutes in length each. The main stage presentations feature some of our nationally syndicated hosts, and we usually feature a keynote speaker in the afternoon. (Recent keynote speakers included Peter Schiff, and CNBC’s Ron Insana). The presentations at the main stage go from 8 am until 3 or 4pm, and seat about 400-500. Breakout sessions seat about 80-130 guests and there are typically 3 different simultaneous sessions that run from 9am until 2pm. We do our best to vary the topics in simultaneous seminars, which means that most sessions have no problem filling up.
